ABOUT THE DESIGN

Spijkstaal

This cute little car is also called Spijkstaal, a derivative of the Dutch village Spijkernisse. A blacksmith from this village initially built electric steel agricultural wagons. In the 50s these electric carts were used as delivery vans. Known in the 70s as the SRV car, which was a small shop riding through the streets. Nowadays, this wagon offers a cosy mobile sleeping place.
